Does it work with my CGM?
Most likely! Glowcose supports Dexcom G6 and G7, as well as Libre 2 and 3. We also offer support for other CGMs via Nightscout, if you're using it. In general, if your CGM provides cloud data, there's a very good chance Glowcose will work with it.
Some CGMs require manual scanning—Glowcose doesn’t change how your device operates. The easiest way to check compatibility is to sign up for a free account at www.glowcose.io and set up your CGM. If you can get your data flowing into our app and have Wi-Fi, you're good to go!

How many can I use?
There really is no limit. You can use them anywhere, anytime, anywhere in the world, and all at once.
How do I change the brightness?
Just press the button on the rear of your glowcose for 5 different brightness settings.
How many colors are shown?
Hundreds of colors! Glowcose uses the full hue spectrum—from red for lows to a pinkish-purple for highs. It becomes surprisingly intuitive in no time.
How often does it update?
Glowcose updates every few minutes to follow along with your current CGM reading.
Do I have to re-pair Wi-Fi after unplugging?
No, your glowcose will remember your Wi-Fi information so feel free to move them around your home to wherever you like them best!
Can I use a portable power bank?
Yes! While we can't promise every power bank will work, we do use them quite often. It's lovely when outside relaxing on the patio. ☕

Are there any subscription fees?
No. Currently, the use of the glowcose.io web app to connect your CGM and manage your device does not require any additional subscription fees beyond the initial purchase of your Glowcose devices.

is there a warranty?
Glowcose includes a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase. If your unit has a manufacturing defect or stops working under normal use, we’ll repair or replace it free of charge.
This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or cosmetic wear.
What if my CGM manufacturer updates their system or API? Will Glowcose still be compatible?
We strive to maintain compatibility with supported CGMs. When CGM manufacturers update their systems or APIs, we work diligently to adapt Glowcose to ensure continued service. However, there might be temporary disruptions outside our control during such transitions.

How secure is my data when using Glowcose?
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit, and all stored user data is salted and encrypted — never saved in plain text. Access is strictly limited and carefully monitored.
Your data is used solely to provide the Glowcose service — never for advertising, and never for resale. Your privacy and trust are at the heart of everything we do.
Troubleshooting
Is the Glowcose app working right now?
If something doesn’t seem right, you can always check our system status. Visit status.glowcose.io for real-time updates on maintenance or any known outages.
how do i reset my glowcose?
Unplug the USB cable, press and hold the button on the back of your device while you reinsert the USB cable. Keep holding the button until you see a red light. After that, the device is returned to it's factory settings.
I can't connect to the "glowcose" network
Once you've selected the "GLOWCOSE" network for pairing, try opening your web browser and navigating to 192.168.4.1 — this can help jump-start the setup screen if it doesn’t appear automatically.
In some cases, restarting your mobile device before pairing can also resolve the issue.
my glowcose is pulsing yellow, what gives?
In the case your device immediately turns yellow, this is an indication your 'device connection code' is incorrect. Visit www.glowcose.io and double check you have the correct code.
my glowcose is white, what does that mean?
Either your wifi is disconnected or your CGM data is not available. Visit www.glowcose.io and double check that your CGM linking is setup correctly or that your CGM is transmitting data to the cloud.
